Sunny's course brought me so much clarity about what it takes to start your own Interior Design business. Her course was exactly what I was hoping for, but also so much more. What I appreciated most about Sunny's course was her honesty and transparency about the realities of the industry. When I found Sunny’s program, the idea of a career in interior design had been with me since I was basically a kid, but I had no idea where to start or whether it was actually a viable career. At the time, I was working full-time in marketing and wasn’t sure if switching careers in my 30s was realistic or if I needed to spend the time and money to go back to school.

After my intro call with Sunny, I knew it was the right move. She’s thoughtful, direct, and clearly knows what she’s doing. We also had similar backstories of wanting to enter design later in life, which made the transition feel much more realistic.

One of my favorite parts of the program is the focus on the business side of design. You can be a talented and experienced designer, but that doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to work with clients or run a business. Sunny teaches the systems and processes you actually need.

I remember the exact night everything shifted for me. I had just spent $200 at HomeGoods and stayed up until 2am redesigning my apartment kitchen, completely immersed in design videos on YouTube. That’s when one of Sunny’s videos appeared. I instantly felt drawn to her story. I saw someone who shared my passion for design and had also chosen a path outside of traditional schooling. Sunny’s For The Designers program was the answer I needed when I was trying to build my residential decorating business and was putting on hold for years. I realized through the program that I learned things I didn’t know I needed to know and that my client process could use fine tuning. It helped me get unstuck and build my momentum. I didn’t want to go back to traditional school where I would learn impractical software and sit through painful drawing classes for a year. I wanted to learn how to build an interior decorating/design business while also being equipped with on-the-field knowledge to boost my confidence. Not only is Sunny’s course impactful but she is also very friendly, supportive and organized.
