When I found Sunny’s program, the idea of a career in interior design had been with me since I was basically a kid, but I had no idea where to start or whether it was actually a viable career. At the time, I was working full-time in marketing and wasn’t sure if switching careers in my 30s was realistic or if I needed to spend the time and money to go back to school.

After my intro call with Sunny, I knew it was the right move. She’s thoughtful, direct, and clearly knows what she’s doing. We also had similar backstories of wanting to enter design later in life, which made the transition feel much more realistic.

One of my favorite parts of the program is the focus on the business side of design. You can be a talented and experienced designer, but that doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to work with clients or run a business. Sunny teaches the systems and processes you actually need.

In less than six months, I’ve already worked with five clients and feel far more confident about my future in design. I honestly never want the course to end because it’s been just as fun as it is informative.

In our group meetings, my peers call it out all the time. She shows up for every single one of us.

This course came at a pivotal moment in my life. I was stepping away from a successful corporate career and into a new chapter; one rooted in creativity, vision, and entrepreneurship. It was a big pivot, and honestly, a scary one. Sunny made it feel possible! She helped me trust my instincts, own my story, and step into my next chapter with confidence.

Sunny isn’t just a mentor. She’s a catalyst. She’s the person who helps you see the version of yourself you’ve been trying to become and then gives you the tools, the support, and the belief to actually get there. I’m grateful for her, inspired by her, and so proud to be part of her community.

I remember the exact night everything shifted for me. I had just spent $200 at HomeGoods and stayed up until 2am redesigning my apartment kitchen, completely immersed in design videos on YouTube. That’s when one of Sunny’s videos appeared. I instantly felt drawn to her story. I saw someone who shared my passion for design and had also chosen a path outside of traditional schooling. We scheduled a one on one call and within a week, I made one of the best decisions I’ve made in a very long time.. I joined her course.

The course itself is incredibly organized, detailed, and easy to follow. Sunny has a way of breaking everything down so that it feels approachable instead of overwhelming. She gives you the clarity and confidence to take real steps forward.

Beyond the technical growth, the mindset shift has been the most meaningful part of this journey. I used to be held back by self-doubt, but Sunny helped me realize that being a beginner is not a weakness, but it’s the beginning of something powerful. I’ve learned to embrace the process and truly enjoy becoming the designer I always wanted to be.

Sunny’s For The Designers program was the answer I needed when I was trying to build my residential decorating business and was putting on hold for years. I realized through the program that I learned things I didn’t know I needed to know and that my client process could use fine tuning. It helped me get unstuck and build my momentum. The program doesn’t just focus on pricing strategy or marketing but offers a more comprehensive guide on building an interior design business from the ground up, from mindset, to interior materials, marketing, the client process, and so much more. 

Sunny infuses her course with thought and practicality, she considers what designers and decorators need to know from her own experience building a successful interior design business. In addition, the program has weekly live group calls, 1:1 calls (optional), and a community group to make the experience more interactive and less lonely. Sunny doesn’t hold back and shares real life client scenarios and her past and present experiences of working in the field.  

I didn’t want to go back to traditional school where I would learn impractical software and sit through painful drawing classes for a year. I wanted to learn how to build an interior decorating/design business while also being equipped with on-the-field knowledge to boost my confidence. Not only is Sunny’s course impactful but she is also very friendly, supportive and organized. I highly recommend Sunny’s program to those who are struggling to know where to start or have had some experience in the field but need more guidance.

Before I met Sunny, I was very intentionally looking for a mentor. I knew interior design was my next career, but I also knew I didn’t want to go back to school or figure everything out alone, especially when it comes to taking responsibility for people’s homes.
